Trendbook - One Platform, Six Codebases

I am proud to be both co-founder and the solo developer of the tech platform Trendbook, a project that put my skills to the ultimate test.

What is Trendbook?

Trendbook is a platform that allows influencers and creators to share where their apparel is from, enabling them to earn a commission on every sale they generate. The platform is available on both our mobile app and web app.

What Does It Take to Build?

While it might sound like a simple platform, I can guarantee you it is not. To make Trendbook work, I had to build an entire ecosystem of applications. This includes:

• The Mobile App
• The Web App
• A Shopify App for integrating with webshop catalogs and automatically installing a pixel
• A Conversion Tracking Technology for tracking sales generated by the influencers
• A Merchant Catalog Mapping and Synchronization Server
• Our Own AI Technology for visual search in the app

Overall, the platform consists of six codebases, three backend servers, and three front-end applications. All of which was built in six months by me as a single developer. You might then ask, is it perfect? - No, but it works damn good for a project that took six months if you ask me.
